Intercultural Studies at Whitley College

The Christian faith is now stronger outside the Western world than within it, and in countries like Australia, non-Anglo congregations represent the most significant signs of growth. Migration is a common experience in life today, and people are seeking asylum in greater numbers than ever before. For this and many other reasons, the study of culture is important. Whitley College has had a long commitment to contextual mission and intercultural studies, known especially through the work of Ross Langmead, our professor of mission studies until he passed away in June 2013.
